2018 MSc Conservation Biology class
The 26th cohort of MSc Conservation Biology students have begun their year at the Fitz - as part of their orientation week, Peter Ryan, Susie Cunningham and Dayo Osinubi led them on a hike up Devils Peak.
December 2017 Graduation
Congratulations to our December 2017 PhD graduates: Kate Carstens, Davide Gaglio (in absentia), Tanja van de Ven and Otto Whitehead. Three MSc Conservation Biology students also graduated on December 20, 2017.
First photographs of Niam-niam parrot, not seen for 40 years
In Feb 2017, Birding Africa and The FitzPatrick Institute undertook an expedition to Chad to search for this species which had no documented records for almost 40 years.
